Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Wardstone's services, website, or API (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our Services.

Description of Services

Wardstone provides AI security services including, but not limited to:

• Prompt injection detection and prevention
• Content moderation and filtering
• PII (Personally Identifiable Information) detection
• Malicious link detection
• API access for programmatic security analysis

Some features described in our documentation may be in development or available only on certain service tiers. We clearly indicate the availability of features on our website and in our API documentation.

Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent our security measures
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our Services
• Use automated means to access our Services beyond permitted API usage
• Resell or redistribute our Services without authorization
• Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code

API Usage and Rate Limits

API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas as specified in your service plan and our API documentation. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension of access. We reserve the right to modify rate limits with reasonable notice.

Your Data and AI Training

We do not use content you submit to our API to train, improve, or develop our machine learning models. Your data is processed solely to provide the detection service you requested and is not retained beyond the duration necessary to complete that request, unless you explicitly enable logging features.

Payment Terms

For paid services:

• Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or specified in writing
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• You are responsible for all applicable taxes, including VAT where applicable
• Failure to pay may result in service suspension

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by JRL Software LTD and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. While we strive for high accuracy in our detection capabilities, no security system is infallible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JRL Software LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our Services.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JRL Software LTD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice, except where immediate termination is necessary to prevent harm or illegal activity. Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will provide at least 30 days notice where practicable. Your continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
